Kyla Ross was born on October 24, 1996, in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. She attended Aliso Niguel High School and was always interested in gymnastics. She started training for gymnastics when she was 3 years old. She went to the Greenville Gymnastics Training Center in Greenville, South Carolina.
