Tim Tebow was born on August 14, 1987, in the Philippines, United States. His family built a ministry in the Philippines. His parents moved to Florida when he was three years old. He was homeschooled and played football at the college level. When he was a junior at Nease and became Florida’s Player of the Year. In his senior year, he made his team win a state title and later went to the University of Florida where he received an athletic scholarship. While he was playing at college he won the Heisman Trophy in 2007. He was the team captain in 2008 and 2009.

He entered the University of Florida on a sports scholarship and played for the Florida Gators football team from 2006 to 2009. During these years, he made his team win many championships becoming the team captain in 2008 and 2009. He passed the 2009 NFL draft and went to enter the 2010 NFL draft. There were mixed views from analysts on whether he should be on the team or not. But he made it to the Denver Broncos team in the 2010 NFL draft. He secured a deal with the team for 11.25 million dollars of which 8.7 million was guaranteed. His first victory was against the Houston Texans. He played six games as a backup in his rookie season. He played all four games of the preseason and was released from the game before his 5th game. He didn’t play football for six years and got back in the game in 2021. He contacted his college coach and made a one-year deal of 920,000 dollars none of which was guaranteed. He was released in August of the same year and played for a limited time in the preseason.

In 2013, he was hired by ESPN as a college football analyst. He appeared the most on SEC Network as a host. He also co-hosted ABC News’ Good Morning America. He is an executive producer of the movie “Run the Race” which was released in 2019.

His baseball career started when in 2016, he invited the MLB teams to watch his tryout. He received offers before his tryout from two independent minor teams as well. In 2016, he joined the minor league  New York Mets. He played in the instructional league. He joined the spring training with his team and made a few appearances in the MLB. In 2017, he played a regular season with the Columbia Fireflies. In 2018, he was promoted to the Double-A team, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. He broke his hamate bone and underwent surgery, missing the rest of the season.

He then got signed to the Syracuse Mets and gave his career-best performance in 2019 by hitting three home runs. He hit his first spring training home run and announced his retirement from professional baseball.
